Got woken up at 10.45 am by 18 year old son shouting... is anyone awake yet!, daughter (24yrs who is staying for weekend) arriving in bed with me, followed by son. Persuading one to get me cup of tea and the other to get me some cereal.... took 1 hour!!! then we all sat in by bed until 1 pm chatting!! Pain killers, resisted morphine today, drove out to beach with them (1 mile down the road!); freezing and windy so ended up in cafe... 1 ice cream, 1 plate of chips, 2 hot chocs, 1 cake! Returned home, checked email, husband cooking tea, 18year playing game on computer, daughter and son in law in lounge on computers/ipads!! Film tonight in lounge!! Debating on wine to go with supper!!! Jobs round house - nil --- made any meals - nil ----- Sat and ate - score! ----- chatted with family - score!! Son in law passed his motorbike first part today (hence the reason they are here for the weekend, as it is much cheaper than doing it where they live in London!!!
